Personal Fitness trainer  course no 108

Distance learning course of 20 lessons

On completion of this course you will receive two qualifications:

Qualification 1:
Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma issued by Stonebridge Associated Colleges, entitling you to use the letters SAC. Dip. (Personal Fitness Trainer)

Qualification 2:
ASET Level 3 Personal Fitness Trainer Award

This Course leads to an ASET Level 3 Award certificate for successful learners. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (in which GCSEs are at levels 1 and 2 and A levels are at level 3).

For more information on this award, click here.

The Award has been designed by the learning provider to meet specific learners' or employers' requirements and as such is not listed as a qualification on NQF. While the duration, content or assessment may vary from similar national qualifications, in accrediting the programme at level 3, ASET attests that its learning outcomes are at an equivalent level to a level 3 national qualification.

ASET is a recognised National Awarding Body.

This course is designed to enable the fitness instructor and coach to develop their skills in providing a dedicated one-to-one service for health and fitness clients.

By reviewing and then expanding their knowledge, therapists will be expected to assess the wants and needs of their clients, test present fitness levels and design programmes which are tailored to each individual. Evaluation, re-testing and progression will form an integral part of the course. Providing a comprehensive service, the therapist will be a motivator, nutrition advisor, lifestyle consultant and instructor.
