Distance learning course of 15 lessons

On completion of this course you will receive two qualifications:

Qualification 1: Clinical Weight Control Diploma issued by Stonebridge Associated Colleges, entitling you to use the letters SAC. Dip. (Clinical Weight Control)

Qualification 2: ASET Level 3 Clinical Weight Control Award

This Course leads to an ASET Level 3 Award certificate for successful learners. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (in which GCSEs are at levels 1 and 2 and A levels are at level 3). The Award has been designed by the learning provider to meet specific learners' or employers' requirements and as such is not listed as a qualification on NQF. While the duration, content or assessment may vary from similar national qualifications, in accrediting the programme at level 3, ASET attests that its learning outcomes are at an equivalent level to a level 3 national qualification.

ASET is a recognised National Awarding Body.

The whole issue of weight control is far more complex than simply controlling food intake - hence the massive failure rate of ‘diets’. This course will enable students to integrate the latest information in a safe programme for weight control. This course deals in depth with both the physiology and psychology of weight issues thus enabling the trained clinician to obtain consistently excellent results within the lucrative area of weight control. The continual assessment method employed by the College with tutor support and motivation throughout the duration of the course will ensure that you will achieve your goals.
