NATIONAL VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (NVQ)

NVQ’s are recognised qualifications which people can complete within their normal work environment. They are not examinations or tests; they prove that you can carry out particular work-based activities to a national standard.

We are able to offer students a number of distance programmes, which will give you qualifications that will enable you to get that job or to enhance your existing qualifications which are all structured for the student to do from the comfort of their homes.

•Preparing & Serving Food (level 1)

• Information Technology (I.T.) (level 1)

• Amenity Horticulture (level 1)

• Customer Services (level 2)

• Cleaning Building Interiors (level 2)

Upon enrolment you will be sent a student pack and allocated a personal tutor with whom you will be in contact with for the duration of the programme.

Our unique Distance Learning programme method enables us to provide any one of the above programmes for a fee of £250.00 (normally these programmes are offered at £400.00) or alternatively pay a deposit of £50.00 followed by 7 payments of £30.00. However, to obtain the benefits of the lower price students must complete an application for funding form and return it with the enrolment.

These learner achievement programmes will assist students with enhanced career development opportunities. Students are urged to take advantage of these programmes as not only are they National Qualifications but they will also strengthen existing qualifications and reassure customers and clients of your abilities.

NVQ’s are awarded on the basis of candidates demonstrating their competence in a work-based setting and you will achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
