Aims and Objectives

This Certificate in Safety Compliance aims to provide the student with a thorough understanding of hazards that can arise in the workplace. On completion of the programme an individual will be familiar with the correct procedures surrounding Health and Safety concerns.

Workplace (Health and Safety Welfare) Regulations.

First Aid.

Accident Reporting.

Health and Safety Training.

Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regs. 1998 (LOLER).

Electricity at Work.

Hazardous Substances.

Progression Potential

This programme supports progression to the COSHH Certificate and also ASET
Level 2 Progression Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace 3681.

At the end of the course you will receive an award issued by Stonebridge Associated College. If however you would like to gain the full ASET accreditation for the course it will be necessary to complete one additional final examination, this examination can be done from home/work. The cost of gaining the full ASET accreditation will be a further Ł25.00 in addition to the price quoted above.
